Sam Saffe is a character in Baby Daddy. She is one of Ben's ex-girlfriends.
Her character is portrayed by Daniella Monet.
History[]
She was Ben's high school crush, in which he sat behind her in homeroom for 3 years. However, she never paid him any mind, other than the boy who wore braces and sat behind her. At a party in high school, Sam and Ben's brother Danny got together but no relationship ever formed.
Years later, she applies from the manager position at Ben's Bar. Ben tried to remind her that they went to school together, but she doesn't recall until he jogs her memory and she voiced how he was Danny's younger brother. Ben tried to ask her out, but misunderstandings led to her thinking Danny asked her out, leading to an argument where she rejects both brothers and Tucker (who admit that he considered asking her out).
Much later, they make amends and Ben resumes his hunt for Sam, but starts to become attracted to her though is rejected because of lingering feelings for an ex. Sam also states she never felt humiliated after the event and sarcastically congratulates him on getting back at the girl who ignored him in high school, despite him pleading. To prove his feelings for her, Ben arranges an embarrassing event in the bar where he dresses up as a cheerleader and voices his affections to get another chance, leaving her amused and touched. She forgives him and the two share a kiss.
Afterwards, Sam is officially Ben's girlfriend and starts to see him in a new positive light, since he balances work while taking care of his only daughter as a single father. Sometime later, Riley discovered the hook-up between her and Danny who lied about this to Riley, which upset her when she found out. Sam and Riley discuss this and made amends, after coming to agreement how Danny should have been open about it.
