—Joshua, to Ben, when Ben declares that he is gay like his mother is dead, Episode "Over My Dead Bonnie"

Joshua is a male single living in New York City. He is portrayed by Michael Galante.

Season 4[]

In Over My Dead Bonnie, Joshua is the subtenant of Bonnie's apartment when she lives with Ben and Tucker. As the guys are fed up with her presence and Bonnie also wants to move back to her apartment, they think about how they can get Joshua out of the apartment despite the lease.

First they plan to lure Joshua out of the apartment and steal the lease while he is away. Bonnie gets Joshua to visit Ben, taking advantage of the fact that Joshua is gay and Ben is good-looking. She and Tucker enter the appartment after Joshua has left and search for the lease. Joshua has brought a six-pack of beer and they sit down on the couch. Ben keeps giving covert hints to Bonnie and Tucker via a walkie-talkie, pretending to be talking to his kid. Joshua thinks Ben is too preoccupied and wants to go home. Ben wants to prevent this and asks if Jushua doesn't feel comfortable here. Joshua replies that he would like to get more comfortable, and when Ben encourages him to do so, he kisses him. At this moment, Riley enters the apartment. Ben jumps up from the couch and introduces Joshua as the new neighbor who doesn't know any guys in the city. Riley replies dryly that he certainly does now. Joshua goes home, and Bonnie and Tucker just manage to avoid bumping into him.

Riley explains that a lease is only valid as long as the original tenant is alive. Tucker then gets dressed formally, goes to Joshua's apartment and pretends to be the landlord. He informs him that Bonnie has died and that he has to move out. Joshua replies that he will pack up and move out after the funeral. Derek had got an acting role as himself on General Hospital where a funeral scene is filmed. During a break in filming, the set is used for a staged mourning scene for Bonnie. Bonnie is placed into the open coffin and Tucker gives a mourning speech. When he closes the coffin lid, employees of the film company come and carry the coffin away because it is no longer needed for filming. The bottom of the coffin breaks off and Bonnie falls to the floor. When she gets up, cursing, Joshua realizes that she is still alive. Joshua asks why they put the whole thing on, and Ben has to admit that it was just to get Bonnie back to her apartment. Joshua doesn't want to give in at first, but because he wants to continue dating Ben, he agrees to move out. But when Ben declares that he is as gay as his mother is dead, Joshua insists to stay in the apartment.

Some time later, Bonnie visits Joshua and tells him she wants to move in because there is nothing in the lease saying she couldn't live there with him. This causes Joshua to finally move out.
