Dr. Amy Shaw was Danny Wheeler's former therapist and girlfriend.
They dated for some time, but she eventually realized Danny was in love with Riley, and broke up with him. She makes her first appearance on the show in Season 2 Episode 5, "The Slump" and is portrayed by actress Lacey Chabert.
She briefly reappears in the Season 3 episode "Flirty Dancing", and mentions that she is engaged to a dentist.
